is Ten Tors South Dartmoor style! Cycle to ten Dartmoor tours, climb
to the top of each, find a Dartmoor letterbox whenever you can and get a
certificate to prove you did it all! The route isn't long, but the
moorland air and all that excitement will leave you feeling tired when you
get home.Route takes you through Bickington to Haytor
and Bonehill. There'll be a cafe stop at Widecombe before the last tor
near the spectacular Doctor Blackall's drive. Don't miss this

Weekend trips make an ideal short
holiday to give you a really good break from your usual routine. Golant
hostel is a large country house overlooking the Fowey estuary around 30
miles from Plymouth. We’ll be taking train or car to Saltash and then
riding along the south coast through the picturesque village of Looe on the
Saturday, crossing on at least one ferry. On Sunday we’ll return via an
inland route.

Postbridge, and is the closest youth hostel to us. There's an open
fire and a games room, and plenty of fun to be had exploring the nearby
river and forest.
If the weather is good we'll ride up
from Buckfastleigh, leaving at around 2.15, and ride back via Widecombe on
the Sunday, but if it's wet we'll use the car for part or all of the journey
and ride on Sunday if it's dryer then. Be sure to book your place as
early as possible, as this is the last weekend trip we will be doing this
year. |

setting out on a lengthy track adventure from Combestone Tor, down over the
moor, across a stream, along an open path and then, if the weather hasn't

the river Dart. There's an excellent cafe at Badger's Holt that will
prepare you for the big climb of Dartmeet Hill and the descent of the
exciting Doctor Blackall's drive for the return journey. |

is our annual excursion to the luxurious Ilsington Country Hotel, a huge
country house set in its own magnificent grounds. We plan to ride up
to the hotel via Bickington, but if the weather is bad we will be using car
assistance. You'll have opportunity to use the hotel's private indoor
swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room before the meal. We'll be
giving out certificates and prizes after the meal, and when you've enjooyed
coffee by the log fire we'll be heading homewards, a journey that is mainly
downhill. It's important to book your place early for this event, so

the last ride of 2006 with an action-packed excursion to Totnes. The
ride will include some of our favourite locations, including Colston Road,
Totnes cycle path, one of the excellent cafes in Totnes, the riverside path
to Longmarsh and the Totnes Steam railway. And because it's Christmas
there'll be some free Christmas chocolate for everyone on the ride! |
